OPAT Good Practice Recommendations – National Consultation

A BSAC working party under the leadership of Dr Andrew Seaton and Dr Ann Chapman have developed a set of Good Practice Recommendations (GPRs) for the effective implementation of OPAT services across the UK.

The GPRs are out for national consultation for 4 week period commencing Thursday 22 September and ending Thursday 21st October 2011.

OPAT GPRs – response proforma

Following the consultation period the recommendations will be amended and submitted for publication in the Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy and will be available open access from the time of publication.

Comments must be submitted using the attached response form.

The working party does not intend publishing the responses received, but copies will be made available for inspection.
